How it decides

46 rules for the usual suspects

Docker and WSL virtual disks that never shrink. node_modules. Shader caches. Windows.old. npm, pip, cargo and Gradle caches. Crash dumps. Forgotten iPhone backups. Each one comes with the safe way to reclaim it.

It knows who owns what

Folders are matched against your installed-apps registry and Microsoft Store packages, so a mystery folder shows up as Installed app · Blender rather than a shrug. What's left as unclassified genuinely is.

Windows stays off limits

System folders can't be moved or deleted from here at all — the app points you at Storage Sense and Disk Cleanup instead. Nothing is ever removed without you clicking it.

Instead of deleting

Move it to another drive. Nothing notices.

One click copies a folder to a roomier drive and leaves an NTFS junction behind, so every app that referenced the old path keeps working exactly as before. The original is kept until the copy and the link are both verified — if anything fails, it rolls straight back.
